Team USA advanced to the gold medal game of men's basketball game in Tokyo Olympics.


They will play for fourth straight Finals of Olympic men's basketball tournament.




The Americans crushed the Australian Boomers, 97-78, after a strong second half run outscoring their foes, 55-33.

The Boomers were actually led by as much as 15 points in the 2nd quarter, 41-26, before Team USA men's basketball team went on a 16-4 run to finish the first half and cut the lead to only three points.

The Americans then used a strong third quarter outscoring the Boomers, 32-10, and led by 19 points by the end of the third, 74-55.

Kevin Durant led Team USA with 23 point on 53% shooting. He added 9 rebounds, 2 assist, 2 steals and a block. Devin Booker scored 20 points on 70% shooting including three made three-pointers.

Jrue Holiday tallied 11 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists, 2 steals and 1 block while his Bucks' teammate Khris Middleton also scored 11 points.

Kevin Durant's new teammate in Brooklyn, Patty Mills, led the Bookers with 15 points 5 rebounds, 8 assists, 3 steals, and 3 3PT. Dante Exum added 14 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists while newly-signed San Antonio Spurs
big man Jock Landale had 11 points and 6 rebounds against his soon to be coach Gregg Popovich.
